We proudly source our natural colored gemstones, exceedingly rare Natural Fancy Colored diamonds, and white diamonds from certified industry partners affiliated with the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC/BPP), International Gemstones Association (ICA), Sightholder De Beers Group, the Watches and Jewellery Initiative 2030 (WIJ2030), and the Antwerp Diamond Bourse, while adhering to the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme and the standards of the World Diamond Council.

CLJ is working with world’s leading partners. Together with their invaluable experience in the world of gemstones, spanning decades, we aim to deliver the highest quality precision of sapphires and coloured gemstones in our jewellery creations. We contribute to promote world of jewellery, natural gemstones and diamonds, local economies and cultural heritage to preserve the traditional crafts of cutting gemstones by hand – a technique that dates back 3000 years traditions. CLJ ensures ethical sourcing and craftsmanship through a vertically integrated process, supporting local artisans. The Maison gemstones are graded for clarity using the EC (Eye Clean) standard, guaranteeing exceptional quality. The sapphires are sourced from Sapphirus Lanka Ltd.


All CLJ diamonds are conflict-free, sourced under 
the Kimberley Process and certified by SRSP, UN Resolutions, World Diamond Council, and RJC. When available, they are also Tracr certified, using blockchain to ensure full traceability and authenticity.

Our collaborations with leading industry partners ensure precision and quality in our sapphires and coloured gemstones, while promoting local economies and preserving cultural heritage through traditional hand-cutting techniques dating back over 3000 years.

CLJ’s manufacturing partners engage local communities and uphold vertical integration, maintaining transparent and accountable business practices. By supporting local artisans, we ensure an ethical process from sourcing to finished product.

CLJs gemstones are sourced responsibly from trusted worldwide renowned suppliers who can trace them back to their origin from, with gem-lab certifications such as SSEF, GRS, GIA & C.Dunaigre. CLJ ensures that miners are treated fairly and that mining benefits the surrounding communities. CLJ collaborates with companies that give back to these communities, making them better places to live and work, especially in Sri Lanka as its the country from the main stones sourced for CLJ’s collections.

 

DIAMONDS

diamonds are sourced according to the Kimberley Process System 
of Warranties to ensure they are conflict-free. Sourcing are certified with SRSP Warranty, United Nations Resolutions, World Diamond Council SOW Guidelines and RJC certified suppliers. When possible, CLJ diamonds are Tracr certified (DeBeers Group technology assuring provenance, traceability & authenticity on blockchain of the diamond value chain). CLJ diamond jewellery from 5 CT+ are marked with a visual traceability story of the diamond’s journey. The diamonds are 100% responsibly sources directly from mining companies through our partner with robust ERP system which captures all the stages of manufacturing with detailed visual documentation of each stage.

CLJ provides detailed information to clients about the origin and quality 
of materials. Supplier compliance is certified by SRSP Warranty, United Nations Resolutions, World Diamond Council SOW Guidelines, Diamonds from DeBeers Group, with the diamond partner, CLJ offers a digital diamond traceable certificate (from +5ct) which contrains a “smart card” with two QR codes for the traceability certificate and diamond journey on Tracr. The certificate containes the timeline of the stages and processes that a diamond goes through on its journey from mine to market. The gold used by CLJ is certified from refiners accredited by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).

CLJ jewellery pieces are meticulously handmade from ethical recycled 
18K gold in our ateliers across Switzerland and Europe. The use of ethically sourced materials and the craftsmanship behind each piece are central to our brand ethos. Each jewellery piece undergoes a meticulous production process that may span from weeks to months, ensuring uncompromising quality.

and handmade artistry. With expertise spanning decades, each member contributes their unique skills and shares a deep commitment to sustainability with commitment to ethical practices ingrained into 
the Maison’s work environment and core values.

CLJ is committed to reusing and recycling all possible, from shipping packaging to stone boxes. All shipping is carbon neutral, namely alternating DHL & Malca Amit Go Green shipping, and CLJ’s packaging is made from leather and FOSC paper, targeting to increase recycled and recyclable materials for packaging by 2025.
