Behind the scenes: Camille Louise at Emily in Paris Season 4
When the fourth season of Emily in Paris arrived on Netflix, a Camille Louise Jewellery piece arrived with it. The Aurora Borealis Trillion Necklace appears on screen in episode 4 of the season, worn in the series’ signature world of Parisian style.
The piece
The Aurora Borealis Trillion Necklace brings together eleven trillion-cut sapphires in blue, pink and purple, the colours of the northern lights. The stones, weighing 1.0 carat in total, are loupe clean and come from Sri Lanka and Madagascar. They follow one another along a delicate 18K rose gold chain, winding around the neck like a constellation. The necklace is offered in a 40 to 45 cm length and is light enough to stack with other pieces.
Why the trillion cut
The trillion is the signature cut of our “One in a Trillion” collection. Its three-sided shape catches light from every angle, and set in a row it creates movement rather than a single focal point. That is what makes the Aurora Borealis necklace read so clearly on screen: colour that shifts as the wearer moves.
A Swiss Maison on a Paris set
Camille Louise Jewellery is a Swiss jewellery Maison founded in Geneva in 2020 by a mother-daughter duo of GIA-certified jewellers. Seeing one of our pieces in a series watched around the world was a milestone for a young house, and a reminder of why we design jewellery to be worn every day, not kept in a box.
